Longwood Pediatrics understands how important your child’s health is, it is important to keep up to date on your child’s well visit schedule. Regular well-child examinations are essential to keeping kids healthy and up-to-date on immunizations against many dangerous childhood diseases.
After your infant’s delivery you may be instructed to see your pediatrician within the following 2 – 4 days. Simply call our office to schedule this appointment. The American Academy of Pediatrics has recommended a schedule of well-child visits that we suggest for your child. Below is a pediatric schedule to help you plan your visits and exams:

|4 months||Check-up with vaccines|
|6 months||Check-up with vaccines|
|12 months||Check-up with vaccines|

After a child’s third birthday, a yearly check-up is recommended.
School Sports and Camp Physicals – Physicals to fulfill the requirements for school sports or camps are one of our specialties. We complete a thorough check-up and physical exam and accurately fill out any forms required by the school or camp program.
Physicals and Blue and Yellow Forms – We have blue and yellow forms available for school enrollment requirements. If your child is in need of these forms, please inform our scheduler when making your child’s appointment or the receptionist when checking-in for your child’s appointment so we may have them ready when you leave.
